Carnevale di Venezia or the Carnival of Venice is an annual festival occasionally held in Venice, Italy. This carnival usually starts around two weeks before Ash Wednesday and is continually celebrated until Shrove Tuesday (Fat Tuesday or widely known as Mardi Gras), exactly before Ash Wednesday.
