NEWS FLASH: Heard about Alexis Arquette's need to be a Woman...fa Real! Here's a little bio:
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California, USA
Birthday: 1-1-1969
Birth Name: Alex or Robert Arquette
He is a member of the famous Arquette family. He is the brother of Richmond Arquette, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette and Rosanna Arquette. His father is Lewis Arquette and his grandfather is Cliff Arquette.
Alexis worked with Jason Gould, the son of Barbra Streisand and Elliot Gould. Alexis who was born Alex is a transgendered actress (uh uh), underground cartoonist, drag-on queen and a musician. Why does the press act as if this is NEWS. Ms. Thang has been on the red carpet in drags more than Helen Degeneres. Maybe the press needs a hobby. Like tell me this. This thing with Alec Baldwin...! When did someone yelling at their kid become public property. Whether you agree or not. Doesn't matter!!! It ain't nobody's business what any parent says to their child. Unfortunately so many celebraties find out too late. The real-price of Fame. No Privacy. No Respect and No Sanctity.

Olympus Fashion Week Begins Sept. 8-16, 2006...can't wait..!

Donyale Luna

*60s Model: Donyale Luna-The Press (DiPress), Buyers and Stylist will once again flock into the dungeons of Bryant Park to await our American Designers vision of Spring 2007. Well. The Question is? Will we have seen it "ALL" before, once again? Personally. Fashion has pinacled itself to a sort of stalemate. Fashion has lost alot of it's "freshness" it once had. We certainly have enough designers out there trying to make an effort to change that. But. It just ain't cuttin' it for me. Still. I do like what the West Coast Designers alot. They seem to be coming up with more so than just the usual 7th Ave. garb. All in all. We are still light years ahead of European style. Which to me got burried with Channel decades ago. It is for that reason I think so many European Designers love working in this country. The US does offer a certain innocence in its approach to good, practical dressing of the masses. Yet. I must also say that British Designers continue to be very cutting edge with their sense of style. So. Brace yourself everyone. Keep your fingers cross and hope that American ingenuity and it's handling of style, funk and savvy, will prevail at the next showing at Olympus Fashion Week. See ya' there lovelies.

...OOOpS, there it is. What we call giving "turning the other cheek" a whole NEW meaning..!

Imagine....Life in the Big Times....!

cheeky

Who knew one day I would be a plus-size? After all. I had high self-este(a)m. A good education. And. A Mom that was a Hippie. Waa Happen? Oh, I know what it was. It was all those darn animal cookies I kept in my room while growing up. Or maybe it was just genes. Right? Anyway. Being single/double ain't so bad. Someone, somewhere has gotta think I'm HOT....or maybe just FAT. Gotta go now and let me get back to you.

Anna Piaggi...still the Fashion Diva at 70ish.

fabulous fashion editor extraordinaire, Anna Piaggi"[Outfit by: Jean-Charles de Castelbajac]...don't you wish your Grandpa had a girl like she?....don't ya.! Anna has always been such an inspiration to many a Designer, Artist and Peers. I had the good fortune back in the day, 1969 to be exact, of attending one her many parties with Yvonne Taylor Cheyne, an Actress and friend of the Castaldi's. She and her late, wonderful husband, photographer Alfa Castaldi were so gracious and kind. Anna Piaggi is Fashion. I think Anna Piaggi is a living, breathing Icon. Matter a fact. I know she is. Anna will go down in history as one of the most inspiring Women ever to have participated in this crazy bussiness called F A S H I O N. We LOVE you Anna.

"Screaming Queens" fascinating NEW Documentary

queens screaming

Screaming Queens explores the reverberations, both large and small, of the rise of transgender activism, a story in which the riot at Compton's Cafeteria plays a pivotal role. Sgt. Blackstone tells of singing "We Shall Overcome" with Tenderloin activists who successfully fought for new social services for their community. Suzie Cooke recounts her job as a transsexual counselor in one of the new agencies founded after the riot. Ching connects the Tenderloin transsexuals' new activism to the rising Gay liberation movement. And St. Jaymes explains that although the queens from Compton's were "wild as the wind," they were "determined to make something of themselves, and be something other than prostitutes." Get the Story online. There is also a Radio Interview with Susan Stryker, the Producer here. On-Air ITVs schedules and PBS dates are on the websites. Don't miss it. Before "Stonewall" these girls in San Francisco made a difference in the truest sense.

keith Richards... a Pirate of the Carribean in Sequel
keith richards

According to entertainment news site IESB.net, Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards is set to star in the tentatively titled Disney three sequel, "Prates of the Caribbean: At World's End". Rumors about Richards portraying the father of Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow surrounded production of the current Pirates adventure, but writers Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio told reporters at the this weekend's press junket, "Keith Richards was never intended to be in Pirates 2. He is supposed to be in 3. Johnny wanted him in but there was just no room in the story in 2. But there is in 3." Writers and producers, however, would not disclose whether or not Richards would play Depp's dad. Two-thirds of the next installment has already been shot. Filming is expected to resume by summer's end.

NOW THERE IS YOUR "Scary Movie" .... Gonna be real interesting seeing a grandfather jostling around a ship in pirate costume. You know. The Rolling Stones had their day. Maybe two or three. But for Christ sakes how long do we have to keep beating a "dead horse". They have ALL, in that group seen better days. Yes. They weren't very recent. But honestly. Don't you think it's about time to give it a rest. We Love 'em to death. But when you start looking like Death. I believe that's a weeeeeeee bit of a hint. It's time..! Ya'll decide. I think they should tell us "....Good Night, Good Luck, Good Bye, Go On, We're Done, Fini. We're off to Get Some Rest and Get A Grip. Maybe Two or Three. Maybe even Take a really, really, really long Vacation, Take A Pill (oh..they've done that), Take a Ride on a Magic Bus, Get Lost and for Goodness Sakes ....get away from the Cameras. They (Rolling Stones) are causing US viewers, precious visionary injuries. I think Grace Slick said best, "....that there is nothing worse than seeing an old rocker, on stage basically needing a rocker". What ever happened to good old Dignity? Bowing out GraceFully (get it). Keith and the Rest of you Guys, ...we get it. We understand..... you're a Rock STAR. Each and everyone of you. Now Go...!

good night and good rithens, rolling stones

Fashion Help Wanted Fashion sketches illustration fashion sketching designer tools fashion designer sketches FashionHelp.net Fashion sketches illustration fashion sketching designer tools fashion designer sketches FashionNetworkCostumes.com Fashion sketches illustration fashion sketching designer tools fashion designer sketches fashionStylistLA.tripod.com Fashion sketches illustration fashion sketching designer tools fashion designer. So you think the old girl is gonna ever call it quits.....? NOT. Madonna still ROCKS and apparently everybody else wants to join in. The Universe's most prolific reigning ICON somehow has found a way to continue to keep us all interested in her. Madonna did set out to rule the world of music and media. And guess what...? Madonna Rules Baby. Madonna reminds me so much about "Oprah's Legend's Ball". Whether a woman is Black or White. If she's got ambition and balls. Well honey... the SKY is the limit. Let's not forget Josephine Baker who did cause a stir back in the 30's when a Black woman didn't dare. Josephine did and the Europeans loved it. Especially the French. If Black people had a Josephine Baker today. She in fact would be in charge of what you saw and thought about women, now. Hence. Madonna. Whether you want to admit or not, Madonna has changed FOREVER.... society's perception of what a woman can do....or What a Woman has capacity to do. So. Having said ALL of that. Three Cheers for Lady Madonna. What a gal! fashionable madonna in concert:: Mad...MaDonna-Licious ::
